Please read below before continuing on to the "Order Textbooks" section of this site.
Web Ordering for Textbooks is now enabled. It usually takes one working day to process your order (web orders placed over the weekend will be processed Monday morning). We will process your web order as soon as possible. No Back Orders will be kept or processed this term. Only books that are available will be processed for in-store pick up or shipping.
Textbook information for the Spring 2010 Semester is currently posted and on-line ordering is available. If you are a Beckley student, be sure to select "Beckley 10" at the top of the page after clicking on the "Order Textbooks" tab in order to obtain the correct textbook information.Textbooks will be available for sale on January 4th. Please be aware that some textbooks may not be available on January 4th due to classes starting a week earlier than last year. The earlier start date will result in a loss of a week of preparation time and will delay the processing of textbooks in our textbook department. Also, the recent weather in the area and throughout the northeast has created significant delays for freight companies and other carriers that deliver our textbooks to the bookstore. These delays will more than likely contribute to delays in processing in our textbook department. The Bookstore will be unpacking and processing shipments during the week of the 4th for the orders that have been received from the Faculty prior to the end of the Fall semester. Last minute changes and late textbook orders from Faculty will cause delays and other problems that are outside of the Bookstore's realm of control. The Bookstore strongly encourages students to go to the first class meeting prior to purchasing their textbooks for the Spring semester in order to avoid any problems due to the factors stated above. Please read the important information below concerning ordering textbooks from alternative sources based on the information posted on this site.

The Bookstore cannot be held responsible for books purchased from alternative sources including other web sites based on information posted on this site and will not accept returns from alternative sources such as on-line textbook providers. Last minute changes made by Professors and Divisions are outside of the Bookstore's realm of control. The Bookstore will consider returns for Textbooks purchased at the Bookstore in error due to last minute changes in accordance to the returns policies included on this site. The Bookstore cannot perform a refund or exchange for textbooks or other items not purchased from the Bookstore. Since the acuracy of the textbook information posted on this site cannot be verified in some cases until the first few weeks of classes, the Bookstore strongly encourages students to go to the first class meeting before purchasing textbooks from alternative sources. The Bookstore strongly encourages all students to carefully read the returns policy on this site as well as the returns policies of alternative sources before making any purchase. !!!
** PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING NOTICE CONCERNING ON-LINE ORDERING ON THIS SITE **
All orders placed on this site take at least 24 hours to process. If you choose the "pick up in store" option at the end of checkout, you will be able to pick them up the following day. If you order books to be "shipped via UPS", your order will be shipped the following day. It usually takes UPS 3-4 days to deliver your order after it leaves the Bookstore. UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes, so if you enter a PO Box as your ship to address, shipping delays are more likely to occur. Standard shipping cost is $15.00. Shipping on small items such as decals that can go parcel post (and therefore will be much less than $15.00) or at a cheaper UPS ground rate will be assessed during the time of order processing. All orders are shipped UPS ground (unless they are small items such as decals-see previous). We make every effort to process all orders as soon as possible and your order will be processed in the order in which it was received. Unexpected delays may occur due to excessive order volume, technical processing issues, and shipping delays that are outside of the Bookstore's control.

We make every effort possible to educate customers concerning our returns policy prior to and/or during their purchase. The returns policy is posted on the door of the Bookstore, at each cash register, and is clearly referenced on the back of all official Bookstore receipts. There is a complete section of this web site dedicated to our returns policy including the actual dates of the deadlines for all textbook returns. The Bookstore staff encourages students to become familiar with the returns policy and deadlines. The Bookstore staff encourages all customers to ask the Bookstore staff questions if they do not understand the returns policy prior to or during their purchase. The Bookstore cannot be held accountable for students not taking the intiative to read and/or ask questions in order to understand the returns policy. Also, the Bookstore reserves every right to reject any returns, but will consider returns according to the policies stated in the Returns Policy section of this site.
